“What was a horrible depiction of death became a wonderful depiction of LOVE.” (Romans 12:9-10 NLT)
“There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command.” (John 15:13-14 NLT) Doesn’t it feel good to know we are friends of God? It was there, on the cross, the greatest public display of affection, where Jesus set us free from our bondage and made us blameless before God.
It was His pain that gave us peace. It was His tears that gave us triumph. “But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.” (Isaiah 53:3-5 NLT)
What Christ endured on the cross was for our freedom. God had a plan from the beginning. When Jesus was buried, our sins were buried with Him. And when He was raised up, we were raised up with Him free and victorious!
Things may look dark right now but just WAIT ON THE LORD!!! (Psalm 27:14 NLT)
What you thought was dead will rise! What you thought was over will live again! You’ll go back to the place you thought your dreams had died, your marriage, your finances, your health, but it won’t be there. You Have Risen!! It Has Risen!!! It Will all be NEW!!! It is ALL RESTORED in Jesus’ Name!!! (Acts 3:21 NLT)
