God Said, It’s Time To Start A New Thing … But First (2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT)
It’s never enough to bring something good into something bad, without first removing what is bad. Spoiled milk with a little bit of fresh milk is still going to make you sick, right? (Ecclesiastes 9:2-6 NLT)
You can’t move forward in your purpose holding on to your past. When God is about to do something new in your life, He’s going to take you through The Great Beat Down. To PREPARE you for the “New You” you must get rid of the old you.
“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” (2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT) God’s about to do a new thing, but He can’t put new wine in old wine skins. (Isaiah 43:19 AMP, Matthew 9:17 NLT) You have been created new in Christ. Don’t return to the old you.
Your purpose isn’t back there. Your destiny isn’t back there. Keep moving forward and don’t look back. Once God has removed the toxic things in your life, keep going forward to reach the fullness of God’s plan for your life.
