Have you ever looked around and felt that you lost your way? I know I have. It is easy to get lost in trying to operate in our own strength, with our own knowledge, and with our own understanding. Life would be a lot easier if it was less of us and more of Him.
When we find ourselves lost and give up on directing ourselves, we usually find our way back to the Lord. We call on Him begging for a way out, and when He tells us what to do, we usually don’t like it. In fact, we may even be stubborn about quickly doing what He says.
When you call on the Lord for help and He answers you with specific instructions, it is important to act swiftly in obedience to get back on track … even if you don’t like what He says. He knows what is best for us. He sees the beginning from the end. He loves us and wants us to walk in the purpose and the plans He has for our lives.
Luke 6:46 KJV – “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?”
James 1:22 KJV – “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”
